WHAT IS TRIAD
TRIAD: Emerging Artist Residency is a four-day fully funded program and partnership among Music in the Somerset Hills, The Bach Choir of Bethlehem, and Tenet Vocal Artists, with support from Trinity Church, NYC. Triad is designed to invest in the next generation of professional singers and secure a vibrant future for vocal music.
A carefully selected cohort of post-collegiate singers will gather in August 2026 for an intensive immersion in Baroque works and new music, beginning with two days of rehearsals at Trinity Church in New York City before moving to Allentown, Pennsylvania for the culminating performance as part of The Bach Choir of Bethlehem's celebrated Bach at Noon series.
Participants will receive daily coaching, masterclasses in performance practice and vocal health, and real-world professional development experience alongside distinguished faculty and guest artists, all at no cost to participants.
By uniting three organizations with proven artistic leadership, distinct audiences, and a shared commitment to the emerging artist community, Triad creates new traditions, builds lasting professional networks, and ensures that talented young singers can build sustainable careers and serve communities for generations to come.
TRIAD MISSION
Triad exists to invest in the future of vocal music by bringing together emerging post-collegiate singers with world-class faculty and three distinct presenting organizations, ensuring that the next generation of artists can build sustainable careers and serve communities for generations to come.
